Why Us

Meet the Owner

When I think of owner, Bill Grcevic, I think of the terms innovative and old-school. Some folks think of “old school” as a term for those of us who can’t seem to grow with technology and the new ways of the world. However, when I think of “old-school” I see it in a positive light seeing Bill as a man who knows that relationships, a good handshake, and a phone call are more important than knowing how to send out an email blast or run a zoom call. Old School men like Bill dominate the market because they are honest and hardworking. He values customer relationships as he gets to know you on a more personal level for who you are and not just a number. There is a big difference in the mentality of a business that is family-owned when you spend your whole life building something from scratch. After pouring endless hours of your time to get things JUST RIGHT you truly VALUE those that support your business.

Bill started learning the ropes of the security and fabrication industry at a young age from his father Thomas Grcevic (who started in the industry himself in 1950). Over the years together they have built a top-notch fabrication shop together that services the heartland of Aluminum Extrusions in Ohio and surrounding areas, and perfected a product line of security screens, screen doors, Bahama shutters and patio enclosures.

Bill was fortunate enough to grow the fabrication business to the TOP while his father was by his side but bringing Bahama Screens and Doors to its peak career is something he is doing on his own. There is nothing that brings him more pleasure than to continue to grow a dream that started with his father Tom many years ago.

I cannot think of a better man in the industry to support, purchase product from, to work for, to be friends with, to partner with and to know.

If you’re in the market for storm and security products, I sure hope you’ll consider supporting what he’s worked so hard to build and buy from Bahama Screens and Doors. Our product line is for everyone, whether you live in an area and would like the added security or have a beach view on the coast. Our products will protect you, your family, and/or your business from weather, crime and UV rays. This is all while saving you up to $0.30 on the dollar essentially paying off your investment. Your products are handmade in the shop while paying great attention to detail on your special project. Let us weather all of life’s storms with you.

Our screens will create a safer living environment where tragedies like these can be prevented in your homes, resorts, workplaces, restaurants, facilities and more, as they will not break or give away like a traditional screen would, decreasing your liabilities and holding over 250lbs of weight.
